New Puppy Care
We got a puppy!...Now what? Fetching the Dream Inc. has you covered. We help you with potty training and basic obedient training. Puppies require frequent potty breaks, as they are learning to be housebroken. Puppies are unable to hold their bladder and bowels until they are about 12 weeks of age. If your puppy is younger than 12 weeks we help you to practice for success. We work with you to initiate a routine for your puppy, so the transition to being housebroken is smooth. We will help you set up a potty spot for them to go to, following eating and drinking. We time our visits for 30 minutes, allowing the appropriate time between eating, drinking and needing to go potty. We don't end out care there though. We also help you maintain consistency in training the basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, come here, walking on a leash, and proper manners when greeting human and pet friends alike. We provide play, mental and physical stimulation, and a basic training package for your new puppy.
Our Puppy Care Package - $55/day (Puppies up to 6 months of age)
This includes:
- Visits up to 3 times a day
- Beginning basic command training (sit, stay, lay down, come here, heel)
Our Puppy Care Package for Puppies (that are 6 months of age up to 1 year - $50/day)
This includes:
- Visits twice a day
- Continue with basic training
- On the leash training (when puppies are fully vaccinated)
The benefits of starting training early with your puppy are many. Puppies are eager to learn when they are young and that puts you in an easy position to teach your pet what is acceptable behavior in your home and what is not. Bad habits are much harder to break when the behavior has been repeated over and over. By starting early, you have a clean slate to make sure your puppy lives their best and most fulfilling life. Fetching the Dream Inc. is here to help you cover the times you can't provide the consistency in their training regimen. We teach the basic commands to promote good manners on and off the leash, how to properly greet human and pet friends, and at the door greetings as well!
